Breezy Southside Apartment
At a glance
District: Southside
Construction Time: Approximately 4 months
The Brief:
This renovation project focused on refreshing the living room, kitchen, dining area, and bathroom. The kitchen and living room share an open layout, gently framed by the tall green trees just outside. We were tasked with mirroring this calm, grounded feeling within the space.

About The Remodel
This was a complete home renovation, covering this Southside apartment's living room, kitchen, dining area, and bathroom. We handled everything from plumbing and lighting to custom cabinets, finishes, and carpentry and also supported with home styling.
The kitchen and living room now share an open layout with ample views of the lush greens outside. Like most renovation projects in Hong Kong, our goal was to maximise space, deliver luxury in simplicity and make use of warm, functional design.

Living Room & Kitchen
The living room and kitchen share an open space that has to feel harmonious. To carry the feeling of nature deeper into the space, the customer and our team landed on warm wood paneling, helping to create a natural flow as you move through the space.
White walls and soft brown finishes play off each other, keeping the space light without feeling plain. Designed for gathering and entertaining, the area features low chairs and coffee tables that can be easily moved around.
At the same time, kitchen essentials are tucked into hidden nooks, ensuring things are accessible but out of sight.

Dining Room
The dining room has the same finishes as the living room, with white cabinetry and warm wood flooring that tie the spaces together.
During the renovation, we added mood lighting to set the tone, with soft inlay lights along the ceiling and a modern chandelier as a subtle statement piece.
The space also doubles as a workspace for the customer, blending function with comfort. It’s a clean, timeless setup that adapts easily to both work and mealtime.

“The most important part of any project is understanding how our customer lives. Design comes second. It’s really about getting to know the person first...how they move through their space, what brings them comfort, what they need day to day. Once we have that, the design naturally falls into place.”

Bathroom
The bathroom was designed with practicality in mind, making cleaning easy while still feeling considered. Large grey tiles keep the look minimal and functional, while industrial-style open storage gives towels and everyday essentials a place to live without overcomplicating the space.
To help with moisture control, a must in Hong Kong homes, a discreet ventilator was installed above the shower—an important detail that keeps the space feeling fresh over time.
The bathroom also features two types of lighting: a warm, softer light above the sink for a relaxed feel and a brighter overhead light to fully illuminate the room when needed.
