About The Remodel

This renovation was for a family of four who wanted to update old fixtures and bring a warmer feel to their home. They like the style of farmhouse-style furniture but were drawn to minimalist finishes and needed help finding the right balance.

We supported with design and planning, focusing on smart storage, improved lighting, and a better HVAC setup. The entryway saw one of the biggest upgrades, setting a fresh tone for the rest of the home.

Living Room & Kitchen

In the living room and kitchen, we removed the old-style moulding and introduced more contemporary finishes for a cleaner look.

Bulky light fixtures were replaced with warm-toned, inlaid lighting that feels softer and more modern, no longer crowding the ceiling space.

The newly renovated kitchen now includes plenty of storage, with a pantry tucked behind large wooden doors. The overall layout flows more intuitively, making the space feel more easygoing.

Bedrooms

Both the master and kids’ rooms were renovated with a more modernized take, creating warm, welcoming spaces that act as blank slates for the family’s own furniture.

Off the primary bedroom, a small dressing area adds function, while an enclosed balcony offers a quiet spot to enjoy the sun or settle in with a book.

The children currently have two rooms, one for sleeping and one for play. As they grow and no longer share a room, the playroom can easily transition into a second bedroom.

“Our goal isn’t just to renovate or update a space; it’s to solve everyday problems in a way that feels natural. When a home works well, you don’t even really think about it.”

Aaron Chin- CEO, Hong Kong

Entryway

The entryway was redesigned to create a clear separation between the entrance and the rest of the home.

A glass door with minimalist metalwork forms a soft arch, adding character while keeping the space open.

We included a built-in bench for putting on and removing shoes, durable tile flooring for easy cleaning, and plenty of shoe storage to keep things tidy.
