The Everyday Elevated
At a glance
Construction Time: Approximately 5 months
The Brief:
This full gut renovation was all about bringing personality into a home that previously felt flat and impersonal. The client’s biggest request was to make the space feel more like them, and every design choice was shaped around that goal.

About The Remodel
This full gut renovation was driven by one clear goal: infusing the home with the client’s personality. The space had good bones but lacked character, and our job was to turn that around. Through careful design and planning, we reworked underused corners and made better use of the layout, transforming overlooked areas into practical and stylish features. Surfaces and finishes were chosen to bring a little extra pizzazz, reflecting the client’s unique taste.

Lighting
Living Room & Kitchen
The kitchen, living room, and dining room share one open space, so a big part of the renovation was making the layout flow more naturally.
One standout feature is the large stone island, designed with a home cook in mind. It anchors the kitchen while creating a better connection with the rest of the space.
We chose warmer wood flooring to add depth and comfort and made sure storage was plentiful, lining nearly every wall in the kitchen and dining area with a mix of open and closed options to keep things both practical and visually balanced.
Bedroom &
Walk-In Wardrobe
The bedroom needed a dedicated dressing area, so we added a dividing wall to create a walk-in wardrobe and a space for a dressing table tucked just behind it.
It’s a smarter use of space that brings both function and calm to the primary bedroom.
On the other side, a soft green paneled wall frames the bed, adding warmth while keeping the room feeling light and open.
To add to the atmosphere, we added warm, recessed lighting throughout the room, creating a soft, glowy feel that’s perfect for winding down. On either side of the bed, two built-in lamps offer convenient lighting for reading at night.

“Sometimes a space doesn’t need more square footage, it just needs better planning. When every zone is thoughtfully laid out, even the smallest home can feel open, functional, and effortless”
Aaron Chau - CPO & Design Director
Bathrooms
Both bathrooms were fully transformed to better reflect the client’s style while staying highly functional.
We removed the bathtub in favor of a more practical walk-in shower and added a minimalist towel rack to keep things sleek.
To bring in a touch of personality, one bathroom features an organic-shaped mirror, while the other has a full wall-length mirror with recessed lighting.
The design remains clean and minimal but far from dull; every detail was chosen to make the space feel considered and uniquely theirs.

Office &
Multimedia Room
The office and TV room share one space but are now separated by a sleek pocket door, allowing for a clear distinction between work and relaxation.
In the office, we built in floor-to-ceiling cabinets that seamlessly flow into the desk, keeping the space neat and streamlined for maximum focus and productivity.
The multimedia room, on the other hand, is renovated for unwinding, with a simple leather armchair that invites you to kick back and relax in a cozy environment.
