Construction Time: Approximately 3 months
The Brief:
This home was designed for a young family of four—a mom, dad, and two girls. They were looking for a space that felt grown-up and sophisticated while still leaving plenty of room for play, creativity, and everyday family life.

About The Remodel
This was a partial renovation refresh that involved new cabinetry and a few smart structural updates to improve flow and function. The client had complete trust in us and, with a busy family life, wanted a home that felt considered and easy to live in, with no bells and whistles, just thoughtful planning and finishing that work.

Living Room & Kitchen
Our customer wanted a space that felt warm and grown-up but still made sense for everyday family life. To bring in that warmth, we used wood accents throughout the cabinetry and home styling, creating a natural flow from room to room.
The open kitchen was kept as minimal as possible, with clean lines and plenty of hidden storage to keep clutter at bay.
Mid-century modern furnishings give the space a timeless, unfussy look that feels sophisticated without being precious. It’s a home that effortlessly balances both adult needs and kids' pursuits.

Kid's Bedroom & Music Room
The two girls share their own dedicated spaces, one room for sleeping and another for music.
The music room gives them a place to practice and be creative, while their bedroom is kept calm and cozy.
As avid readers, we also sourced furnishings like book storage and a standing hanging rack for school bags, helping the girls stay organized and build independence as they grow.

“We stand by the quality of our work, which is why every Apartmentary remodel comes with a one-year warranty. We stick around long after the dust has settled.

Entryway
The entryway was designed to feel welcoming but add a layer of organisation, which is always needed in family homes.
Dedicated storage for shoes and coats to keep clutter out of sight. A built-in bench with recessed lighting makes slipping shoes on and off easy.
To add more personality, a Japanese-inspired pocket door adds a subtle but effective barrier between the entrance and the main living space, helping to create a quiet sense of arrival and setting the tone for the rest of the space.
