About The Remodel
Full gut renovation for a young family who wanted a clean, simple interior to match their existing dark walnut furniture. No ornate details or complicated wall panels, just timeless minimalism with neutral tones and clean lines.
Scope included new flooring and ceiling throughout, reconfigured walls to add a helper’s room, and optimized layouts by subtly shifting partitions between the master bedroom, children’s room, and master bathroom for better proportions and daily flow.
Result: a bright, spacious, family-friendly home that feels modern yet warm, perfectly suited to their lifestyle and existing pieces.

Living Room
We crafted a seamless, calm living room that flows naturally into the rest of the home. Ceiling lights were updated and switches were carefully selected to match the handles and warm neutral tones, creating a fully cohesive look. To ensure quiet and peaceful moments—especially important with a young child—we concealed the door between the hallway and living room. It features no visible handles, with discreet hinges that hold it securely in place and effectively reduce noise to the bedrooms.
The designer also helped source the ideal sofa that perfectly complements their existing dark walnut furniture while preserving the clean, simple aesthetic they love. By painting the doors the same color as the surrounding walls, the hallway appears larger, more open, and beautifully uncluttered, enhancing the overall sense of space and serenity throughout the home.

Dining Room
We refreshed the dining room into a bright, comfortable space perfect for family meals. The old window-type air conditioner was removed and replaced with a sleek split-type unit for better efficiency and a cleaner look. We updated the main ceiling light, added adjustable LED lights (with precise angle control for ideal illumination), and replaced the outdated window handle with a modern one that matches the home’s warm tones.
The walls were fully repainted in a soft neutral shade that enhances the room’s openness, complements the existing dark walnut furniture, and ties seamlessly into the clean, simple aesthetic throughout the apartment. The result is a welcoming, well-lit dining area that feels fresh, functional, and ready for everyday family life.

Master Bedroom
In the master bedroom we installed a split type air conditioner and concealed the pipes within the walls for a clean uninterrupted appearance. To better suit the clients wishes we carefully adjusted the wall positions between the master bedroom kids room and ensuite bathroom resulting in a noticeably larger more comfortable master bedroom while keeping the bathroom generously proportioned and fully functional.
We added two custom bedside shelves designed to match the clients original bed frame along with sleek wall lights for soft ambient illumination. A full floor to ceiling wardrobe was built with integrated LED strips for subtle lighting leaving just the right clearance for easy door operation. The designer selected handles that complement the warm walnut tones and overall minimal aesthetic. An extra hidden cabinet was integrated seamlessly into the walls providing discreet additional storage.

En Suite Bathroom
The ensuite bathroom was completely transformed to match the homes serene simple style. Everything was replaced including a custom vanity cabinet featuring clever inner drawers that maximize storage while keeping visible lines minimal and uncluttered. We used the same tiles on both floor and walls to create a seamless cohesive appearance eliminating harsh divisions and reinforcing the clients preference for clean uncomplicated surfaces throughout the space.

The Kid's Room
We transformed the kids room into a bright, adaptable space ready for a growing child. The floor, ceiling, and walls were fully updated for a fresh start, and we built a custom cabinet tailored specifically for baby needs with clean simple lines that match the homes overall aesthetic. A split type air conditioner was installed for efficient cooling and quiet operation.
To achieve a seamless uncluttered appearance we reshaped the wall around the AC unit serving two purposes: concealing the split type AC pipes completely and hiding the curtain rails so everything looks smooth and integrated. We also replaced the window sill with durable quartz marble that complements the warm neutral palette. Soft new curtains were added to complete the calm peaceful environment perfect for rest play and future growth.

Kitchen + Entrance
At the entrance we painted the door in a soft neutral tone to blend seamlessly with the home’s clean aesthetic. We built a full height shoe cabinet with a thoughtful open middle section for easy display and extra storage—perfect for keys books and the kids everyday items—creating a functional welcoming space right from the moment you step inside.
The kitchen underwent a major transformation as one of the most significant parts of the renovation with everything replaced for a fresh modern start. We installed a sliding door featuring fluted ribbed glass that is not fully transparent yet allows gentle light to pass through both ways. This stylishly conceals the often messy kitchen while keeping the overall look refined and cohesive. The walls and key surfaces were finished in limestone stone pattern tiles versatile enough for floors and walls offering a clean sophisticated texture that adds subtle interest without feeling busy or overwhelming.
