"From the very beginning, my vision was clear: a Scandinavian inspired zen vibe. Clean lines, soft neutrals, thoughtful simplicity. Nothing flashy, just a quiet sanctuary where the day's stresses could melt away. I will admit, as a first time renovator, I felt a mix of excitement and nerves."

Q. Can you introduce yourself and why you chose to do a home remodel?

As someone born and raised in the nonstop rhythm of Hong Kong, I had always lived right in the thick of the city, close to everything yet craving a little breathing room. When the time came to remodel my own space, I knew I wanted something different: a home that still felt connected to the energy of the city but wrapped me in calm the moment I stepped through the door. Braemar Hill became that perfect middle ground, with nature just a

short walk away while the skyline remained within reach.

From the very beginning, my vision was clear: a Scandinavian inspired zen vibe. Clean lines, soft neutrals, thoughtful simplicity. Nothing flashy, just a quiet sanctuary where the day's stresses could melt away. I will admit, as a

first time renovator, I felt a mix of excitement and nerves. I had questions like how would the materials come together? Would the space actually feel peaceful, or would it stay just another apartment?

That is where the Apartmentry team truly shone. From our first conversation, they understood exactly what I was after. There was no pushy sales talk, just genuine listening and gentle guidance.

Q. How did the collaboration with the Apartmentary

team feel?

It felt like a real partnership from the beginning. They were very clear about what decisions needed to be made and kept me updated on the timeline, so I could stay on top of approvals and confirmations. Even with a tough summer full of bad weather, we still moved in exactly on the promised date-no delays at all. My friends and family warned me about typical renovation setbacks, but the communication was so smooth, efficient, and reassuring that none of those issues came up.

From our first conversation, they understood exactly what I was after. There was no pushy sales talk, just genuine listening and gentle guidance. Joane, in particular, had this intuitive way of reading my personality. She suggested lighting that was not just functional but deeply comfortable: warm, adjustable tones that shift effortlessly from bright daylight energy to soft, intimate evenings when friends come over. Those dimmable fixtures have become one of my favorite things, versatile enough for quiet nights alone or cozy gatherings, always enhancing the ambience without ever overwhelming it.

Q. What are some standout features that you love in the finished place?

The details surprised me the most. I never imagined arches could make such a difference, but Joane helped bring them to life in a way that feels organic and elegant. And that signature fixture in the living room? Friends walk in and immediately say, “This is so you.” It has become the quiet heart of the space, simple, warm, and somehow full of character.

Q. How has living in the remodeled apartment changed your daily life?

Now, every time I come home, it feels more like home. The moment the door opens, a wave of calm washes over me. The colors blend seamlessly, the lighting wraps the rooms in softness, and the overall simplicity lets me breathe. It is exactly the peace I was searching for, a place that restores me after long days in tech and the bustle of the city.

Q. What would you say to someone considering a

first-time remodeling?

Renovating is a big investment, financially and emotionally. But I kept reminding myself: this is where you will live, recharge, and build memories. You pay for comfort, for quality, for a space that truly supports your life, and in the end, it is worth every bit. I am deeply content here, and that feeling grows stronger with time.

If you are considering a home renovation, especially if it is your first and you feel a little lost along the way, I cannot recommend the Apartmentary team enough. Their expertise, clear communication, attention to detail, and commitment to timelines are rare gems in this industry. They made the entire journey feel reassuring and collaborative, and the result is a home that feels like a warm embrace.

Thank you, Joane and the whole Apartmentary team. You did not just redesign an apartment; you helped create a place where my heart truly rests.
